Conferences & Seminars

We are delighted to inform you from the Vice-Chancellorship of Research that in our first nine months, total research funding obtained for IE professors has more than tripled.  And an amount similar to our total is still pending decision, which could give us an increase of up to 500% once the year is up!  We have diversified the sources of our financing away from the Spanish government toward other sources:  about two-thirds of our new financing has been awarded by the EU, another 23% by the Junta de Castilla y León, and only 6% from the Spanish government (76% last year).  We believe this is a very positive trend at a time of Spanish budget restrictions, and we plan to make an even stronger push in this direction next year.

We congratulate our professors on all of their efforts to seek financing for their research efforts, and are pleased to have been able to contribute in such an important way to raising the visibility, credibility and solvency of IE University as a research institution.

Our best regards

The call for these projects will take place in two phases. In the first phase, a reduced version of the proposal must be submitted along with the pre-application form. In the second phase, the pre-application forms which have received good reviews will be presented in their complete application version.
